What restorative yoga is and how it can help you

Restorative yoga offers the possibility to rest deeply and revitalize our body. It is suitable for people of all ages and all health conditions.

The benefits of practicing restorative yoga can be experienced in different ways:

  • Bringing your body and mind back into balance.

  • Arouse feelings of well-being and counteract the effects of chronic stress.

  • Recover from injury or illness.

  • Reduce high blood pressure.

  • Elevate and stabilize your state of mind.

  • Simply help you to slow down your daily activity by connecting with your own body.

Inspiration

I´m inspired by the teachings of Judith Hanson Lasater, pioneer in restorative yoga, PhD and yoga teacher since 1971, and of her daughter Lizzie Lasater.

"We work very hard in our lives, and while we may sleep, we rarely take time to relax. Restorative yoga poses help us learn to rest deeply and completely."

Judith Hanson Lasater, Ph.D., PT, author of Restore and Rebalance and Relax and Renew.
